So I’m studying the book of Leviticus. I’ve heard some people say if Paul was alive today we would be getting letters. Which I agree with. But in the Old Testament God used Moses and Aaron. He told them the fire at the altar was to never go out. The smoke represented God’s presence. Now stay with me, Leviticus 8 is the Ordination of Aaron and his sons. The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron told exactly what to do. Two chapters later two of Aaron’s sons took their own firepan and presented unauthorized fire before the Lord, which he had not commanded them to do. The fire from the came and consumed them. Two points I want to make here the obvious is Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice!!! But second let’s go deeper think about your life. Like really think about it. We say we want God to have total control but do we really?! God sent his son so we don’t have to make that “sacrifice” or the fire pan. But how often do we unintentionally try to take control and not allow God to move the way he needs to move in our life. This just open my eyes today they had make so many sacrifices then. You flip forward and you find a loving God who sent his only son to a corrupt dying world. That son died the most brutal death of any man ever so that you and I could have eternal life. Today Go show God’s love and be intentional about it. Love yea, April
