MRS. CHARLENA H. CROUTCH, PRESIDENT
RUFSD
💙💛 Roosevelt’s Voice. Long Island Leadership.
Please join the Roosevelt Union Free School District in congratulating Board of Education President Mrs. Charlena H. Croutch on her unanimously approved appointment to the Nassau-Suffolk School Boards Association (N-SSBA) Executive Committee!
This exciting leadership opportunity brings Roosevelt’s perspective to a regional table dedicated to strengthening public education.
What does N-SSBA do for schools? The association brings school boards across Nassau and Suffolk counties together to advocate on education legislation, share successful programs and practices, and collaborate on challenges facing their districts. Its Executive Committee brings together school board leaders who help advance this shared work in support of Long Island’s public schools.
For Roosevelt, Mrs. Croutch’s appointment creates another opportunity to ensure that our students’ needs, our families’ voices, and our community’s priorities are represented in important regional conversations about education.
In recommending her for this role, N-SSBA Executive Director Robert Vecchio described Mrs. Croutch as a “thoughtful and dedicated board member” who would bring a valuable voice to the table.
Congratulations, Mrs. Croutch! We proudly celebrate your leadership, your service, and this meaningful opportunity to champion Roosevelt while working alongside fellow school board leaders for stronger schools.
