As we enter into fall—a new season, new rhythms, and even time changes—we’re reminded that while seasons may shift, our God remains the same.

May this new month be an opportunity to draw closer to the Lord, trust Him in the changes, and walk faithfully in all that He has ahead. Whether you’re stepping into something new, waiting on an answer, or simply taking life one day at a time, remember: God is already in this season with you.

Thank you to Pastor Tom Hughes from Hope for Our Times for joining us this Sunday and reminding us to stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word.
God is not finished with Israel. His promises have not changed, His covenants have not been forgotten, and His plan is still unfolding exactly as He said it would. We were also reminded that being chosen is not the same as being saved—salvation comes through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for both Jew and Gentile.
In a world filled with opinions and misinformation, may we remain grounded in Scripture and trust that God will always remain faithful to His Word.
Jesus came the first time so that we could be forgiven—and He is coming again!

Sundays are better together. 🤍

Last week, we looked at the thief. This week, we turned our attention to the Good Shepherd—the One who knows His sheep, leads them, protects them, and gave His life for them.
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.” — John 10:11

We were also blessed to have John Rounno from The Gideons International with us this Sunday. John shared about the work The Gideons are doing around the world—placing God’s Word into the hands of people who need it and sharing the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Through Scripture distribution, outreach, and personal Gospel witness, their mission is simple: get God’s Word into people’s hands and point them to Jesus.

We’re thankful for another Sunday spent worshiping together, opening God’s Word, and hearing how the Gospel continues to go out beyond the walls of our church.

**PRAY FOR COLOMBIA** 🙏

Our hearts are with the people of Colombia as they face the devastating aftermath of the recent earthquake. We pray for those who have lost loved ones, those who have been injured or displaced, and every family facing uncertainty in the days ahead.

We also continue to lift up Venezuela, still recovering from devastating earthquakes while now facing heavy rains and flooding that have brought even more hardship to communities already hurting.

And beyond these nations, we remember the many communities around the world experiencing earthquakes, floods, and other disasters.

Church, let us pray.

May the Lord bring comfort to those who mourn, protection to those in danger, strength to first responders and volunteers, provision to those who have lost their homes, and hope to every heart overwhelmed by fear.

"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."
- Psalm 46:1

Lord, have mercy. Bring comfort, protection, provision, and peace. May Your presence be known in the midst of every tragedy🙏🌎

Colombia, Venezuela, and every nation affected—we are praying with you and for you 🤍

As the body of Christ, we’re called to care for one another — to pray for each other, encourage each other, carry one another’s burdens, and be there through both the good and the hard seasons of life.

Sunday mornings are just one of the times we get to come together, worship Jesus, sit under His Word, and spend time with the people God has placed around us.

“If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.” — 1 Corinthians 12:26

What a joyful Sunday celebrating new life in Christ!

We had the privilege of witnessing members of our
church family take the next step of faith through
baptism—publicly declaring that they belong to Jesus.
We’re so grateful for all God is doing in their lives and
honored to celebrate alongside them.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.”
—2 Corinthians 5:17

Sundays at CCH!

Pastor Gary finished teaching through the book of
Matthew, bringing our time in this Gospel to a close and he begins a new topical series until the end of August!
We’re thankful for the truth we’ve been able to learn
and apply as we’ve walked through it together.
