As this year is the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, members of the Hemet Stake presented the San Jacinto City Council with a commemorative plaque extolling the Declaration, the Constitution, and exhorting our civic leaders to continue protecting the God-given right of religious freedom.
Joseph Smith Jr. declared that “The Constitution of the United States is a glorious standard; it is founded in the wisdom of God. It is a heavenly banner; it is to all those who are privileged with the sweets of liberty, like the cooling shades and refreshing waters of a great rock in a thirsty and weary land. It is like a great tree under whose branches men from every clime can be shielded."

"I have found joy in connecting with fellow Saints through the shared language of sacred music. And especially through the simple songs of Primary, the Holy Spirit has transcended language barriers and filled my heart with His whispering. In children’s voices, the love of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, has been proclaimed in clear, piercing truth."
Sister Tracy Y. Browning - October 2025 General Conference

"Because Jesus Christ knows all about best days and worst days: suffering so great that an angel was sent to strengthen Him, the betrayal of a good friend, the cross on Calvary. But His story also has a garden, a stone rolled away, and an empty tomb. Because of Him, no matter how bad things are right now, your best days are ahead."
Sister President Emily Belle Freeman - General Conference April 2026
