In response to President Oaks’ and the First Presidency’s invitation to participate in service projects and activities associated with the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Hemet California Stake was inspired to invite the stake primary children to make posters and signs expressing their patriotism to be displayed publicly at the Minor residence on Park Hill. They hung the signs by the animals. About 60+ children showed up and even some people from the community either honked or stopped to see what was happening.
