This article goes over a recent study that highlighted the role family relationships play in passing their faith to the next generation.

37% of Christians said a grandparent’s faith influenced theirs. This shows that the example and encouragement that comes from grandparents can have a significant impact. Never underestimate what you can do to influence theirs next generation.

Yesterday, our Children’s Ministry Director, Erin Carr, provided a beautiful illustration of mercy.

She asked a young girl some questions and promised $10 as a reward if she correctly answered them. However, if she did not correctly answer them, she would be shot by a Nerf gun as a punishment.

The girl missed one question, but instead of going through with the punishment, Erin showed mercy and gave her the $10 anyway.

Our God is a God that shows mercy and second chances to those who accept His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Savior.

The very best week of the summer! Thank you to all the volunteers and helpers who made this year's VBS possible. Despite a fire on our campus on Thursday, God's gave us the strength to push through and finish with great joy. We give him all the glory. Tomorrow during our worship service, the children will perform the theme song and we will show some photos from the week.
