Friends - please be in prayer for Doug Mottinger, he has been admitted to the hospital at Parkview Regional and will be having a cardiac cath on Tuesday to address continued issues of chest discomfort and pain. Please keep Linda in prayer also.

I'm seeking to find reliable & trustworthy in-home homemaker for a senior couple in Southeastern LaGrange County. Must have references, be willing to do light housekeeping, light meal prep, organized to help make and keep medical appointments and have a valid drivers license that is clear of accidents to drive them in their vehicle to and from medical appointments. They currently have a nurse who comes once or twice a week to set their medications and do vitals, the need is for help around the home and companionship. Hours and days negotiable. Friends - hang on to your windshields! A heads up that sometime in June, INDOT has announced a plan to chip and seal SR 327 from SR 4 to US 20. We appreciate the road maintenance but please be cognizant of the work crews AND of flying stones until it settles in! If you see the construction you may want to avoid the area as much as possible. No specific date has been given for the work.

Friends -
Please continue to keep Gwen and Marvin in prayer. They are each in the hospital, but in different ones which has made it even more difficult. Pray specifically for pain relief and resolution for both of them, and for God's hand in all of their situation.
Please continue prayers for Pete Bowman. After extensive surgery his pain is still very difficult to handle often, pray for pain relief and healing and for the upcoming test results.
Please pray for Parker Minier. He has been hospitalized for a couple of days, his pain pump quit working and it causes not only pain but muscle spasms. Please keep him and his parents in prayer as they await the end of the long holiday weekend when the specialists will come in to determine what steps to take.
Please pray for a gentleman named Richard, he is unknown to us but a child of God. He has advanced cancer and is not doing well. Prayers also for his parents as they trust God.

Friends - please be in prayer for Gwen McBride, she has been admitted to Parkview Noble hospital. Prayers for both she and Marvin as he remains in Parkview Regional. Pray for peace and health resolution.

Friends - please be in continued prayer for the following:Pete Bowman - major surgery to remove most of his tongue due to cancer. He tolerated that well on Monday, he has a feeding tube and a trach in his throat as part of the recovery, he is sitting upright and looks quite good. However last night his pain level was a 9 out of 10. This will be a long recovery and pathology results have not yet returned to know his prognosis. Pete and his wife Susan are in need of prayer for peace, patience and pain control as they wait at the beginning of a long recovery.
Marvin McBride remains hospitalized for approximately a week now, he has had a couple of things ruled out but new issues have developed. He is in quite a lot of pain, and it appears a new infection may have developed overnight. Please pray for him and Gwen as they face yet more difficult decisions. Pray specifically for answers on all the testing and pain relief.
