Richard and Diane Smiths daughter Rita is back in the hospital with complications from her recent surgery.
Lonnie has a heart cath tomorrow.

A reminder set that we have a church board meeting tomorrow Tuesday 9/8 at 6 pm. Please attend if at all possible.

Friends - due to a schedule crunch, we have schedule a Board Meeting to set budget for this coming Tuesday, 9/8 at 6 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, but we need a quorum of board members. This also means there will be NO BIBLE STUDY THIS WEEK! Thanks for your understanding!

Friends - updates on Deb S and Rita (Richard and Diane’s daughter). Deb was to have a scope test yesterday but her labs were way off so she remains hospitalized. She and Randy need our encouragement. Rita had a large portion of her liver removed in a 7 hour surgery and if things go ok she could be released from the hospital today. Diane remains in Lafayette with her and her family. Again, continued prayers for recovery and positive test results.🙏

I don't care what people wear to church.

Don’t care if they come in dressed like James Bond or Jimmy Buffet.

Suits, slacks, jeans or shorts?

Don’t care.

I am just glad they are here.

We are however, told to “clothe ourselves in joy.”

We all need to wear that.

Church is a great place to encounter Jesus.

Regardless of how you are dressed.
