Although today is the Third Sunday of Advent, December 12 is usually observed as the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Holy Mother of God, pray for us!
Viva la Virgen de Guadalupe!
Viva Cristo Rey!

The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe has never dimmed in Latin America and the United States. Her feast day on Dec. 12 provides special comfort two years into the Covid pandemic.
