🎉 What a GREAT first week at GLBA! 🎉
The halls of Gospel Light Baptist Academy have been filled with prepared teachers, excited students, and parents who are eager—and maybe just a little nervous—as their students begin another school year. ❤️

Whether it’s phonics or physical science, writing or world history, math or music - our students have jumped right into learning! 📚✏️ We’ve enjoyed seeing the energy in our classrooms, the smiles in the hallways, and the excitement of learning in our new building.

Most of all, we are thankful to God for His goodness and for giving us such a wonderful start to the school year. We’re excited for all He has in store for GLBA!

Though we say goodbye to summertime field trips, water days, and art projects, we are thankful for the lives we are able to invest in year round.
We are excited about the upcoming school year as we welcome many new students and move into our new building!

What an incredible couple of weeks of adventures for our GLBA Adventure Camp! 🌿✈️🍦

Last week, our campers enjoyed an unforgettable day in Sylacauga, visiting AERO Missions and Blue Bell Creamery. They learned about missions and how God can use people to share the Gospel around the world, then cooled off with a sweet treat while discovering how Blue Bell ice cream is made!

This week, we traveled to Cedar Creek Nursery in Helena, where campers learned about God's beautiful plan for growth—both in the garden and in our own hearts. Each camper planted something special to take home, including rosemary, mint, lavender, and more, as a reminder that with the right care, growth happens one day at a time.

We are so thankful for the wonderful hosts who welcomed our campers, shared their knowledge, and helped make these experiences both educational and memorable. We love seeing God's creation, His truth, and hands-on learning come together in such meaningful ways!

Thank you, AERO Missions, Blue Bell Creamery, and Cedar Creek Nursery, for investing in our campers and making these field trips so special! 💚

What an incredible week at Summer Adventure Camp! ☀️🎨💦

Our campers packed a lot of fun into one week—from cooling off during Water Day to exploring history and nature on our field trip to Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park. Along the way, students enjoyed hands-on learning, outdoor adventures, new friendships, and creative art instruction that helped bring out their talents and imagination.

We are thankful for the laughter, excitement, and memories made this week. It has been a joy to watch our campers learn, explore, create, and grow together!

We can't wait to see what adventures next week brings! 🌟
