VBS 2026 is in the books!! These kids have had the best week and learned all about what it takes to be “more than conquerors” in Christ Jesus. On the last night, the kids packed their survival kits in their new backpacks & learned how God always provides everything we need.
Jesus is the main source of survival for Christians. He is all we need. We
need to use the tools he gives us to always be prepared to do what is right and help others when needed. Our verse of the night was Phil. 4:19 “And my God shall supply all of your need according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
We ended the night as we have all week, praying for all of our friends and family & worshipping Jesus!!

This week has been such a blessing & we have had the best time! The best part of the week has been what an asset our teen youth have been throughout. They have stepped up, cleaned, led games, helped with crafts, and been a light and an example to the other kids. They have made this week so much better!!❤️

Night FOUR of VBS is all wrapped up!! We learned about the fourth survival tool that God gives us, GODLY FRIENDS! We heard the story of the friends who lowered their friend down from the roof to get him to Jesus to be healed! Then we discussed how Godly friends are so important when you’re trying to live for Jesus. We decorated team bandanas, shared friendship bracelets & had relay races with stuffed animal friends carried in a towel across the gym. Our verse of the night was Proverbs 27:17 “As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.”(NLT)
We ended the night praying for all of our friends and family & worshipping Jesus!!

Night THREE of VBS was voted the kids favorite yet!! We learned about the third survival tool that God gives us, FAITH! They learned about the faith that David had in God when he faced Goliath (1 Samuel) and painted rocks to remind of us this story. Our verse of the night was Hebrews 11:6 —“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
🏕️A special thank you to our friends from Dr. Thomas Walker State Historic Site for coming tonight & brought all kinds of animals and many of the kids learned to face their fears as they penned held turtles, lizards, snakes, and a ferret!! So fun!!! We ended with prayer for one another again & worshipping Jesus!!
