🔥 UNSHAKEN — WEEK 20 🔥
SAME GOD. REAL PEOPLE. ETERNAL IMPACT.

20 weeks.

For 20 weeks we've talked about being UNSHAKEN.

We've talked about storms.

Fear.

Addiction.

Brokenness.

Waiting.

Purpose.

Obedience.

Getting back up.

Breaking chains.

And refusing to quit.

But maybe being Unshaken was never about becoming somebody who doesn't struggle.

Maybe it's about knowing WHO TO HOLD ONTO WHEN YOU DO.

Because we're not perfect people.

We're broken people who encountered a perfect Savior.

Some of us have stories we aren't proud of.

We've made decisions we'd give anything to change.

We've hurt people.

We've been hurt by people.

We've walked through addiction, anger, prison, broken relationships, depression, shame, loss and things we thought we'd never survive.

But Jesus stepped into the mess.

And we're still here.

THAT'S THE MESSAGE.

Not...

"Look how good we became."

But...

"LOOK HOW GOOD GOD HAS BEEN."

🔥 Different stories. Same Savior.

And now we're less than two weeks away from UNSHAKEN 2.

September 19 isn't about putting on a show.

It's not about artists.

It's not about lights.

It's not about attendance numbers.

It's not about whether people know our names.

It's about whether people meet HIS.

Somebody may walk into Oxford Civic Center carrying an addiction they've hidden from everybody.

Somebody may be ready to give up.

Somebody may believe they've gone too far for God.

Somebody may think church people could never understand their story.

And somebody may walk through those doors without Jesus...

and leave knowing Him.

THAT'S WHY WE'RE DOING THIS.

So these next days...

🙏 PRAY.
Pray for chains to break.

👥 INVITE.
That person God keeps putting on your heart? Call them.

❤️ LOVE.
Don't judge somebody's chapter 2 when God might be preparing their chapter 3.

🗣️ TELL YOUR STORY.
Stop being ashamed of what Jesus rescued you from.

🔥 EXPECT GOD TO MOVE.

Because God is still saving.

Still restoring.

Still healing.

Still setting captives free.

And He still uses ordinary, broken, willing people to carry an extraordinary Gospel.

For some people, recovery is just a word.

For others, it is the reason they are still breathing.

It is another morning sober.
Another lie exposed.
Another chain broken.
Another marriage fighting to survive.
Another family learning how to trust again.
Another man or woman realizing their past does NOT get the final word.

At Celebrate Recovery at Cleburne County we believe recovery is about more than changing behavior.

It is about surrender.
Healing.
Freedom.
Restoration.
And finding the One who can rebuild what life, addiction, hurt, habits, and hang-ups tried to destroy.

Jesus still saves.

🔥 UNSHAKEN — WEEK 19 🔥
THE FINISH LINE IS IN SIGHT.

There comes a point in every race where you stop worrying about how tired you are…

and start remembering WHY YOU STARTED.

We’ve talked about storms.

Chains.

Fear.

Waiting.

Obedience.

Purpose.

Recovery.

Faith.

But now we're entering the final stretch.

And this is NOT the time to coast.

THIS IS THE TIME TO PRESS.

📖 “I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 3:14 KJV

Somebody reading this almost quit this year.

Somebody almost went back.

Somebody almost picked the bottle back up.

Somebody almost called the dealer.

Somebody almost walked out on their family.

Somebody almost gave up on ministry.

Somebody almost stopped believing that God could still use their life.

But you're still here.

Maybe bruised.

Maybe tired.

Maybe carrying some scars you didn't have when this year started.

But you're still standing.

And maybe those scars aren't evidence that you lost…

Maybe they're evidence that JESUS KEPT YOU.

🔥 So don't quit now.

Stay rooted when circumstances shake.

Stay disciplined when feelings change.

Stay generous when nobody applauds.

Stay faithful when nobody notices.

Stay focused when distractions come.

And above everything else…

KEEP YOUR EYES ON JESUS.

Because we're not running this race for applause.

We're not building a ministry to make our name known.

We're not putting together Unshaken 2 just to fill a building.

September 19 isn't the finish line.

It's a starting line for somebody else.

Somebody is going to walk into Oxford Civic Center carrying chains nobody can see.

Somebody is coming broken.

Somebody is coming addicted.

Somebody is coming angry at God.

Somebody may walk through those doors thinking they have absolutely nothing left.

And THAT might be the person Jesus has been preparing all of this for.

So invite them.

Bring them.

Pray for them.

Sit beside them.

Love them.

Tell them what Jesus did for YOU.

Because your testimony might become the flashlight God uses to show somebody else the way out.

Let's finish strong.

Let's finish faithful.

Let's finish TOGETHER.
