What a wonderful, Spirit-filled day at Cedar Creek Baptist Church! God truly met with us and poured out His blessings in a special way. There is nothing sweeter than seeing the Lord move among His people.
Today we had the honor of recognizing two very special young ladies for their accomplishments. We presented Sis. Calleigh Bowling with a Certificate of Achievement and a gift for graduating Pre-K at Pleasant Grove. We also presented Sis. Chloe Lyles with a Certificate of Achievement, a gift, and the Alder Jackson Scholarship to help with her future education at JSU. Standing with us during the scholarship presentation was Sister Helen Bible, representing the generous scholarship donation from her Aunt made available for church members. We are thankful for those who invest in the future of our young people.
We were also blessed to welcome Sister Judy Billingsly into the Cedar Creek Church family. We are excited to have her with us and look forward to serving the Lord together.
Then we celebrated one of the greatest pictures of God’s grace as Sis. Lashay Hudgins followed the Lord in believer’s baptism, publicly proclaiming her faith in Jesus Christ. We are so proud of her and excited for what God has in store for her life.
We ended the day gathered around the table with a meal celebrating our graduates and their accomplishments, enjoying fellowship and thanking God for His many blessings.
Days like today remind us that church is more than a building, it is family. Seeing lives changed, welcoming new members, celebrating accomplishments, and witnessing obedience to Christ reminds us how good God truly is.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above…” James 1:17 (KJV)
We are blessed, and it’s all because of Jesus!
