I “love” Valentines Day!! (Just ask my husband😊.)
It reminds me of the love God has for everyone on this planet (whether they believe it or not, it’s just true - He loves us all.)
How do I know of His love? We know the scripture, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His Only Son, that ‘whosoever’ ‘believes’ in Him, should not perish, but have ‘everlasting’ life’” (John 3:16). You may be saying, “you don’t know what I’ve done”. I get that, I missed it in the past & even in the present (even little sins are still sin); HOWEVER, have you read the next verse? John 3:17 says, “For God sent His Son into the world NOT to judge the world, but to save the world through Him (Jesus).”
Soooo, you see, “no matter our sin”, God still loves us. (Now He doesn’t want us to sin, sin keeps us out of “the blessing” He has for us - I’ll write on that later.)
I’ve recently been studying on this love - & love is “shown” (or acted on), it’s a verb. He showed me this scripture this morning, Romans 5:8 (NLT), “But God ‘showed’ His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us ‘while’ we were still sinners.” I’m so grateful!

And we “see” love everywhere. The other day we were at a funeral, & oh my, did we see love - hugs & tears everywhere. All that love started from one man finding out about the love God had for him, & then he shared that love with everyone he was around - it was shown. Also, have you ever had an animal that was so devoted to you, he/she never wanted you out of their sight. That’s love. I had an old horse the other day let me love on him (& he used to be a little testy), but he hadn’t forgotten of my love for him. It made my day!

This past Sunday, we sang “Love Lifted Me” (it’s still ringing in my ears).
“When nothing else would do, love lifted me.”

You might not like Valentines Day, because you don’t have a “sweetheart”; but oh, if you only knew the greatest “sweet heart” is the love God has for you. He is love. I encourage you to let Him show His love to you through time with Him & His Word (everyday). Trust me, He wants you to know how much HE LOVES YOU!!

PS You still have time to “show” your love to others; send a hand-made card or flowers or candy to someone you care about. Let that love continue on! (Valentines Day is Feb. 14th.) It doesn’t have to be a girlfriend or boyfriend, maybe, it’s the bank teller who’s always kind to you or the one at the dollar store, who goes out of their way for you. Just LOVE!❤️

Mother’s Day
It can be hard. Maybe your mom is now gone, maybe you missed it raising your children, maybe your child is gone, maybe you don’t have children. What I do know is, God is there - He never leaves us nor forsakes us (Hebrews 13:5). He was there then, He’s there today, & He will be with you forever. No matter what “it” is, His love for you is there.
When you feel like withdrawing from the world, know where that’s coming from; that’s from the enemy. Recently, I went to a meeting for women, and the one thing I heard - no matter the “works” I do, God “values” me. He values you. Stop and think about that, God values you. He needs you - He needs you to encourage someone, He needs you to pick your head up and go forward (not backwards). His “mercies” are new every morning - Lamentations 3:22-23, and His “grace” is sufficient for you (to go forward) 2 Corinthians 12:9.

Get into His Word, read the love He has for you (that is forever). Be around the right people who will encourage you. Maybe on Facebook or Instagram, start only following those that lift you up. There’s a lot of junk out there that will zap you, things that will make you second guess yourself; again, know where that’s coming from - the enemy wants you to get off course. Follow the One that wants the best for you; Jesus is our Example, He demonstrated the Way we should live and talk. Will we miss it again - yes, but His love is already there again, waiting to help you again.

Be encouraged on Mother’s Day, let Him love you for who you are, you are His daughter and He’s got you! ❤️
(“And I will ask the Father and He will send you another Helper, who will be to you a friend just like Me - and He will never leave you.” John 14:16 / Other names for the Holy Spirit are Comforter, Counselor, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby)

We think (?) "he'll" be a bay roan. All the other babies have been fillies, so Mr. Joe is happy (once again)!!❤️

To someone tonight, don’t listen to the enemy’s lies. God loves you. He said He’d “never” leave you. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you, He is your Helper & Strengthener.
Speak this out loud, “I am more than a conqueror, I am an overcomer.”
I’m praying for you. You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.
My favorite scripture, “ The Lord is the strength of my life…” Psalm 27:1
(I also add, He is my peace & He is my joy.)

This scripture (Psalm 19:1) is the verse of the day with the YouVersion app. I was looking for a good pic of our night time hayrides at the ranch, & the Arkansas trip pics popped up. This scripture is so fitting with the pics & video from the Arkansas staff trip, & of course fitting with the camp hayrides.
On those camp hayrides, Mr. Joe had the campers look at the beautiful starry skies & the bright moon, and he told them, “just like the moon reflects the light of the sun, we’re supposed to reflect the Light of Jesus through love”.

God’s glory is on tour in the skies, God-craft on exhibit across the horizon. Madame Day holds classes every morning, Professor Night lectures each evening.
