Palm Sunday was our lesson today. Jesus fulfilled a prophecy about himself in Zechariah 9:9. We reenacted the prophecy waving our palm branches, throwing our coats down and shouting Hosanna to the highest and There’s Jesus! Then we made an empty tomb!
We did some worship, some praying, and a good power verse relay game girls vs boys!

Tomorrow is part 3 in the Creation series.
How to Handle Temptation.

Satan desires to take our kids out in whatever fashion he can. My prayer and hearts desire is to equip them with The Word and recognize his tactics and stand against him.

Today we talked about the first sin and what price sin cost. We did this a little differently. For those you know the cartoon magic school bus and Ms frizzle well I decided how fun it would be to “go back” to the garden of Eden.
My little computer gal did a great job in showing us pictures as we discussed them. Then once we landed back in our time 😉 each table got a long white paper with a box of crafting items and they “recreated” the garden of Eden.
It was a fun day of learning!

Today in Kids church we continued our lesson on Daniel and how the King told them to eat all the foods: but yet Daniel with the right attitude said he wanted to eat fruits and veggies and no wine for 10 days and then compare them to the others.
The kids and I investigated temptations, what it means, they also gave examples of some, and how to deal with them. We discussed that having the right attitude during these times are very important, praying daily for help and strength and how God always brings us the victory.

Once we concluded with our lesson the kids then took their mystery box of an Oreo cookie, a graham cracker, chocolate donut and a cinnamon pop tart and they designed their own investigator. (I’m so sad that I didn’t get pictures, cause they made some great investigators!)
It was a great day of learning!
