Happy Birthday to Chris McVay, Pastor of Heber Springs Baptist Church! Let’s all eat pumpkin pie in his honor!

This morning I had the privilege of preaching at Palestine Baptist Church! Please continue to pray for this church as they are still without a pastor. Then, this afternoon, I was invited to participate at a deacon ordination at Lifeline Baptist Church where Timothy Altom is the pastor. It was very encouraging to see this church ordain John Baker, a godly young man! Please be praying for John and his wife, Kirsten, as they begin serving in the deacon ministry of this church! So glad that both of these churches are part of our Association!

We are thankful for what God is doing through church planting across Arkansas! Because of the generosity and cooperation of Southern Baptists, we are celebrating another quarter of Gospel impact.

Here’s what God is doing through our church plants:
- 85 reported salvations
- 48 reported baptisms
- 961 reported Gospel conversations
- 59 average worship attendance

Thank you to every church, pastor, and individual who gives, prays, and serves to make church planting possible.

Will you join us in praying for Arkansas church planters? Pray for more opportunities to share the Gospel, hearts to be open to Jesus, and new believers to grow in their faith. Ask God to strengthen church planters and their families as they faithfully serve their communities.

Let’s continue praying for God to move across Arkansas!

Had a great time of worship and fellowship the last couple of days at the Arkansas Baptist State Convention! Thankful for what God is doing in our state and thankful for all the convention staff for the way they serve churches & associations across our state! To God be the glory, great things He has done!

We're looking forward to gathering with you at FBC Rogers next week for our Annual Meeting & Pastors' Conference! As we prepare to gather, pray that God would use this time to encourage our leaders, strengthen our churches, and guide us as we seek to advance the Gospel together.

We'll see you soon, Arkansas Baptists!
