On November 12 each AWANA student will fill a “Christmas Shoebox” with a selection of fun toys, school supplies, personal care items and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Some T n T students will write personal notes or send a photo of themselves. These packed boxes are then picked up by Samaritan’s Purse “Operation Christmas Child” organization and distributed to children all over the world reaching them with love and the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We are asking our church members to pray about giving toward this project and those who are financially able to purchase some of the following items and bring to the church by November 11th. There will be a bin at the front foyer. We have ordered 100 boxes. You may also write a check to the church designate “ operation Christmas child” and we will buy the items. Please follow the Lords leading and if you feel you want to participate here is a list of items to purchase. Remembering it has to fit in a shoe box with other items. Thank you so much!
