October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and tonight we had the opportunity to celebrate Pastor Hogan and his sweet wife, Ms. Kathy.

Words could never fully express how much we love and appreciate them. There is so much that goes into shepherding a church that most people never see. We appreciate not only the things we see and know about, but also the countless things done quietly behind the scenes that we may never even know about.

The hours spent in prayer, the time devoted to studying God’s Word, the burdens carried, the sacrifices made, and the love poured into our church family week after week.

Pastor, thank you for faithfully answering God’s call on your life and for giving so much of yourself to serve Him and His people. And Ms. Kathy, thank you for standing beside him, loving our church, and being a part of the ministry.

We know that pastoring is more than what happens behind the pulpit on Sunday. It is a calling that reaches into every day of the week, and we are so thankful for the heart, dedication, and faithfulness you both pour into our church.

We love you both and we pray that God will continue to strengthen you, encourage you, and bless you for all that you do in His service.

“And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13
