We just received this message from Marti on the current update on Pastor Rodney: please pass along to our fellow church members that do not have access to Facebook.

This is the message I typed out for the choir group and figured it would serve its purpose all around.
Good Morning everyone. Pastor Rodney had a ct scan this morning and an ultrasound of his heart. All of which is standard procedure. Doc showed me brain scan pics and it looks wonderful. The spot where the tumor was is already starting to fill in😉 He is a little worn out (me too) because they have to check him every hour to make sure there is no swelling, bleeding, etc. Dr said everything looks great. PT will do an assessment and if all goes well (like he can stand) they will move him to a room today as soon as one is available. Please spread the word to those that you know don't have Facebook like John Penny, Beulah, etc. Thank you for all your thoughts & prayers. As you can see, prayers definitely get answered, even specific ones 😉

Update on Pastor Rodney:

We’re so thankful to share that Pastor Rodney is out of surgery and came through great with no complications. The doctor reported that he had a hemangioblastoma, which appears to be non-cancerous. Pathology will confirm this.

He is currently in recovery and will soon be moved to ICU.

Please continue to keep Pastor Rodney, his family, and his medical team in your prayers as he begins the next phase of healing.

As you can imagine, this is a lot for Marti and the family to manage right now. To help them focus on Rodney’s recovery, updates will be shared here and by text as needed. Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, and understanding.♥️

Good Evening Church Family, we just received word that Pastor Rodney is only feeling up to one service on Sunday. He is requesting the two church families merge together at Farnham at 11:00 am. New Friendship will not have Sunday school.
