Senegal Team Day 2 is in the books!

Today we had a tour of Dakar led by an amazing local who told us the history of his people and the pride of his country. We also had the chance to see the updates to the ministry center that were funded from the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering. We finished up with helping host a party for the ESL students and share with them the hope of Jesus! One of them said he’s already started reading the Bible to help him learn English but also learn about God.

God has blessed us in such a special way during our Encounter Series over the last two weeks! We’ve been reminded through John 21 and Isaiah 6 that when we truly encounter God, we don’t walk away the same.

Thank you to everyone who came out for our night of prayer & worship.

We are thankful for a faith family who love to seek God in prayer. We prayed intentionally for ourselves, our families, our church, our ministry partners, & for those we long to be saved. We praised Him in song and now wait expectantly for God to answer these prayers. And that God would transform our hearts to be ready for when these prayers are answered.

We can't wait for our new series "Encounter: Rediscover the God Who Changes Lives" to kick off this Sunday! Throughout the Bible, ordinary people had life-changing encounters with Him—and they were never the same. This past Sunday was Promotion Sunday at FBC Heath! We had the joy of celebrating our children who moved from preschool into elementary ministry and from elementary into our youth group.

We are so proud of each of them and excited to see how God continues to work in their lives. We are grateful for their families, teachers, and ministry leaders who faithfully encourage them and help them grow in their relationship with Jesus.
