How are you feeling this Easter?
News feeds don’t do much to help. Fear, despair and struggle are the adjectives I hear from neighbors and friends.
Maybe for you, Easter-or what you recall about it was for another time. Sometimes I think , “how can Easter relate to this world of chaos?”

There is a wonderful story in the New Testament book of Luke in chapter 24, verses 13-35.
Lets give this story the title “Hope Lives”
It involves a few unanswered questions. It begins interestingly with the sense of the weight of having been fully involved in a lost cause. It revolves around the statement in vs.21
”We had hoped”
As our story unfolds we learn that Jesus was walking right with them unrecognized. He didn’t scold or reprimand them for their inability to see, he drew them out with questions and stories from the grand story. As the evening culminates they learn that in fact
Hope Lives

How?
Your friends and neighbors at the Heath Union Church invite you to walk with us and explore together.
10 AM at Heath Union Church. If you are unable to be physically present join us at www.heathunionchurch.org

Why? Why me? Why my child? What kind of God allows...?

What if instead of asking Why, we learned to ask a different question: How? How can I
learn from this? How can I serve my neighbor in this time? How can I grow deeper?

Even how can I thrive without a clue as to the why? I invite you to join fellow wanderers in this wilderness, who are themselves willing to
ask How?

Join us on Wednesday the 18th at 6 Pm at the Heath Church for an Ash Wednesday service. We begin by acknowledging our finiteness in the ashes, and follow Jesus who treks through this wilderness, preparing Him for the cross and ultimately resurrection.
Each Sunday we will explore a Biblical character journeying through a particular
spiritual wilderness. We will look into how their "How" can be applied to our own.
What do I need to bring for this journey? You!
Check it out!
