"Traveling in the Wrong Lane"
Isaiah 43:19, Rom. 7:15, Matt. 26:41
I have been driving over 60 years, all over the country. On dirt roads, four lanes and even Interstates, there is one act that really annoys me especially on four lanes and interstates. Why is it when you are driving the speed limit in the outside lane and someone is just pushing you to speed up. Then all of a sudden they can't wait on you to break the speed limit for them so they shift over to the inside lane. They speed along making car move over to the right lane out of their way. Then all of a sudden they realize they have to make a right turn but they can't do it from the inside lane. Now they have to get the cars they pushed and passed to let them back in the outside right lane.
You hesitate because they should have been in the "right"
lane all along. Graciously you let them in to make the right turn.
From a spiritual perspective isn't that a lot like folks on life's journey? They push and speed through life changing lanes not considering the fact that at a point they have to turn right. When they get to that point of trouble or even death, they want to get in the right lane trying to make the turn. It's good God is not like man who may not let them in and send them rolling on "down"π₯the road. Get right now don't miss your turn. ππ½π
