What a way to kick off Holy Week!

We had a wonderful Palm Sunday service (thanks to Rev. Zach Roberts for worshiping with us), an excellent potluck full of good food and even better conversations.

To top off our day we had our annual Easter Egg hunt. A good time was had by all. Thanks to everyone who made our Palm Sunday special.

Please remember that tomorrow 3/26 from 10:00am to Noon is our food distribution. If you are in need please come and get some food. Make sure you have your ID and proof or residence so we may serve you efficiently.

Good morning Hazen family. Thank you for your continued prayers for Laura’s mom.

We had a little setback over night. The hospital did a chest CT and found evidence of plural effusion (basically fluid on the lungs). This is not uncommon with people on ventilation or those with sepsis. Her O2 did drop to around 80 for a moment but they were able to get it back up.
This has caused the hospital staff to turn the ventilator back up to help with breathing.

She is moving around a bit more now that the sedation is out of her system, but still non-responsive to commands.

Please continue to be in prayer.

Good morning Hazen family. Thank you for your continued prayers her is an update on Laura’s mom.

Laura’s mom is now at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch, Mississippi. It is an hour closer to us. The doctors have her sepsis under control. They were able to give her more platelets last night. DIC is still a concern but we are trending in the right direction.

Good morning Hazen Family. Please be in prayer for Laura's family. Her mom (Marylin) is in the ICU in Corinth, MS. She developed an infection that has led to sepsis. She is currently on a ventilator. Laura and I will be in Corinth today.

As a result Bible study for today has been cancelled. We will reschedule/makeup sessions next week. There should be a one-call that went out announcing the closure, but just in case please pass along this news to anyone you know participating in Bible Study.

Greetings friends! You are invited to join us for our Lenten Bible Study "Witness at the Cross" by Amy Jill Levine. This study will explore the various people who paid witness to the final hours of Jesus' life and how that experience impacted and how those experience inform us today. There will be two options for you to participate in this study.

In person starting Tuesday, February 24th @ 10:30am
Zoom option starting Sunday, February 22nd @ 4:00pm.
