Dear friends, Earlier this year, Briar Fork Primitive Baptist Church voted to merge in with our sister church, Flint River Primitive Baptist Church, the last remaining church of our association. This was due to the number and age of our membership, as well as our lack of a pastor. Our facility sold and we pray for the new congregation calling it home. Today at her regular conference meeting, Flint River joyfully received our five active members into their church body, with whom we've been worshiping on Sunday mornings for the past few years. We thank you for your prayers and your visits over the years to our church and to our association meetings. We love you in Christ and hope to see you soon.
