The Gospel Light Baptist Youth & Community Center, ( formerly the Chavies Elementary school) is part of the ministry of Gospel Light Baptist Church. We want to make the Youth & Community center available to rent for birthday parties, Anniversary parties, Family reunions, and gatherings. In the past , we haven't charged any fees to help with the expense of Electric & gas heat.
The youth center is available for you to rent if you'd like to. The cost will be $50 dollars for the 1st 2 hours and $ 25 for each additional hour.
It will be available on weekdays, evenings and weekends. If you have a group that wants to rent to play basketball during the week, there will be a $2 dollar charge per person. The cost will not apply for dinners for Families having a funeral meal or memorial services. All money collected will go to the expenses we have there at the youth center. The Youth center will only be available on Sunday between 1 and 6. It will not be available on Sunday evening or Wednesday evenings. YOUTH BASKETBALL K thru 8 starts tomorrow, Saturday, October 19th at Gospel Light Baptist Youth Center, ( former Chavies Elementary school) 250 Chavies School Road Chavies, Ky. Registration starts at 9.

K thru 2nd 1000
3rd & 4th girls 1100
3rd & 4th boys 1215
5th thru 8th Girls 115
5th thru 8th Boys 230.
If we have a larger group of any age, we will make sure everybody gets to play.
Food provided. This for all young people in our communities!! Come and have a good time with us for the next 6 weeks.

Our youth basketball league begins on October 19th. (Postponed one week from flood relief) We will be playing at the Gospel light youth center on Saturdays for 6-8weeks. This is for boys and girls who are in kindergarten through the 8th grade. There will be no charge to play. At the end of the league T-shirts and medallions will be presented.
