Regrettably, River Academy ceased operations on November 14th, 2025, due to inadequate enrollment, which ultimately rendered the church incapable of sustaining the financial obligations associated with the Academy buildings. Consequently, the church held its final service on December 21st. Despite the sorrow of closing this chapter, we honor the lasting legacy of devoted trailblazers such as Glenda Mason and Carol Mason, who selflessly served since the 1960s. Their tireless contributions, including Glenda's commitment to the Academy and church office, as well as Carol's leadership roles in women's ministries and other capacities, have had a profound and lasting impact. We also extend our gratitude to Otis Williams, Frank Cash, and Linda Westerhoff for their unwavering support through many decades.
