CYO meeting tonight! Last week we got to know each others favorite things and preferences. This week will be similar in the sense that we will get to know each other's "color."

Meeting, as always, starts at 7:30 with fellowship time at 7:00. See you there!

CYO update: we are so back

Our first official meeting of the year is tonight at 7:30 for all high school students! Doors open at 7:00 for fellowship time for anyone who wants to hang out beforehand.

Hays CYO just wanted to wish all of our students a blesse and happy first day of school today! Weekly high school meetings start next week Wednesday and monthly junior high meetings start in September.

But our CYO/Jr CYO Kickoff & Ice Cream Social takes place this Sunday from 1:30-3:30 in the IHM parish hall! We hope to see all 6th-12th grade students and their parents there!

Our Catholic Youth Organization Leadership Team has been established as of last night, and they cannot wait to get the 2026-2027 CYO year started!

Please like, share, and tag all families of 6th-12th grade students to come to our annual Kickoff & Ice Cream Social next Sunday, August 23rd! St. Nick's, St. Joe's, IHM, and beyond are all invited to stop by.

Parents can help register their students upon arrival and then we have some important info for all three groups to cover before dousing our ice cream in sprinkles.

It's almost that time of year again! All CYO, Jr CYO, and parents are invited to our annual Ice Cream Social where we will register for the 2026-2027 school year!

We have some important announcements regarding things like NCYC, Restored Order of Sacraments, and more!

Mark your calendars for Sunday, August 23rd from 1:30-3:30 in the Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Hall. We can't wait to see you there!

Our 2025-2026 CYO year has officially come to an end with the turn of the calendar into August. Which means the prep work for the 2026-2027 year is kicking off!

All high school students (9th-12th grade) that have an interest in being on the CYO Leadership Team this year are invited to attend our Leadership Interest Meeting this Wednesday at 7:30 in the CYO room.

We will be discussing what qualities we look for in a leader, perks and responsibilities of being on the team, and reviewing the end of the year survey results so we can assess how to make CYO better moving forward.

There is no commitment at this time, so even if you are just mildly curious about the team, stop by and check it out.

If you have a scheduling conflict and cannot attend the meeting but still would like to be in the running for being on the team, please reach out to Marc. Thank you!

It's time for our summer session finale! Every year the Hays CYO participates in Backpacks 4 Kids sponsored by First Call For Help. Tonight at 7:30 we will meet at Walmart to go school supplies shopping for those in need!

Meet at the SOUTH entrance by the pharmacy. We should be done by 8:30 as per usual.

Next week we will host our CYO Leadership Team interest meeting, more info to come in the next few days!

Such a great turnout for CYO and Jr CYO! Looking forward to seeing all of the younger kiddos participate in Catholic Youth Organization when they get older too! We love Totus Tuus Diocese of Salina!
