Spiritual food for the mind, soul and body.

Scripture for today: They do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 1 Timothy 6:18

Question: What is the last good deed you did? 😦

As a followers of Jesus, I should follow His example and be a good steward. My actions and my words should be filled with goodness. Giving to those in need, standing up for injustice, and serving the poor are just some of the good deeds I can practice to glorify the Lord and show others I live according to my beliefs in Christ. Let my good works show people I put your faith in Jesus Christ.

Pray this prayer with me. Our Father who art in Heaven, I thank you for giving me the perfect example of love through Your son, Jesus Christ. Give me opportunities each day to be Your hands and feet while I remain here on Earth. I want to bless others like You have blessed me. I want my life to be a blessing to those in need , not for my own glory but to glorify You. In Jesus name I pray Hallelujah, Amen.

Spiritual food for the mind, soul, and body.

Scripture for tonight: But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Romans 8:25

Question: Do you have faith in Jesus Christ? πŸ€”

Hope for the future that I constantly pray for but that is not yet seen. Men do not hope for that which they already see or possess. It requires the faith and patience as I wait for my hope to be fulfilled. I must run with patient endurance the race set before me before I can claim the prize at the end.

Pray this prayer with me.
Our Father who art in
Heaven, the Lord of us all and the Spirit of life, You give us true hope Lord. Hope that is based on the thing in all the universe, even on Your promise. Give me the faith to hope for things yet unseen; give me the patience to endure all things without losing sight of my hope. You, Lord, are my Hope and my everlasting Reward. In Jesus name Hallelujah, I pray Amen.

Spiritual food for the mind, soul, and body.

Scripture for today: For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:2

Question: Do sin abound in a natural man and woman that leads to death ? πŸ€”

Sin reign in the natural man , which leads to death. The principal of life works in the believer, however, and this is the work of the Spirit. And the life that Jesus gives sets us free from the dominion of sin and death. For greater is He who is in me than he who is in the world.

Pray this prayer with me,
Our Father who art in
Heaven the Lord of us all,
the Spirit of life, I mourn for the sin that still remains in me and that causes me to stumble at times. But I rejoice that I am the workmanship of God and that He will finish the work He has started. Set me free ever more from bo***ge to our own sinful desires, changing my hearts toward godliness, with Your Word. In Jesus name Hallelujah, I pray Amen.

Spiritual food for the mind, soul, and body.

Scripture for today:
According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death. Philippians 1:20

Question: Do you believe that Christ should be magnified in your body, whether it be by life, or by death? πŸ€”

It is easy to be fearful or worried about how nonbelievers will perceive you; however, as the Apostle Paul shows, we have nothing to be ashamed of when it comes to Jesus Christ.

Instead, we should boldly share our faith in Jesus with others. Yes, people have suffered for their faith (and some have even died), but we should be courageous enough to allow both our lives and our sufferings to display Jesus boldly.

Pray this prayer with me,
Our Father who art in
Heaven, thank you for loving me enough to send Your Son to save my life. Thank you for not turning away from me while I was yet a sinner even though You had every reason to be ashamed of me. Forgive me for the times when I was ashamed and scared to share my faith in You with others. Give me the boldness to share Your hope with others. In Jesus name Hallelujah, I pray. Amen

Spiritual food for the mind, soul, and body.

Scripture for today: And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. Colossians 1:21

Question: Do you have terrible thoughts of someone who have wrong you ? πŸ€”

I may have terrible thoughts about someone who may have wrong me. I may wish upon those who criticize or ridicule me vengeance and injury. Yet, this only degrades me in the eyes of the Lord, for it allows some of the Devil's favorite sensibilities into my hearts. The next time such thoughts may creep within my mind, I will focus instead on turning this into trust, for God will always in the end punish the unjust.

Pray this prayer with me,
Our Father who art in
Heaven, in the mold of Your only begotten son Jesus Christ, let reconciliation enter into my heart for all those who have wronged me. Place instead in me to trust in Your justice and judgment, so that I may not err in debasing myself, but rather focus on building up the strength of my faith in You. In Jesus name Hallelujah, I pray. Amen
