Today, we paused to salute and honor the life and legacy of Mother Channie Brown of Haynesville, La. Mother Channie, along with her late husband played a significant role in both my childhood and adult life/ ministry. It was a privilege to serve someone who knew you before you knew yourself. Mother Channie served as the church mother of Greater Harvest COGIC, Haynesville as well as a charter member our former church home.

Her sense of humor would cheer anyone up. She was a praying woman. A woman who loved God and her family. She leaves with us a legacy of love and faithfulness. Our thoughts are with the family and friends and the citizens of Haynesville, La. Rest Well, Mama Channie! ❤️❤️❤️

Greetings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. In our over 25 years of ministry we have never made an appeal for financial support for this ministry. Every ministry program or outreach, we have funded with our own money, with the exception of a few private donors. 2020 was a year of great challenge emotionally, physically and financially for almost everyone. Individuals, families and communities were hit hard. Unfortunately, many ministries and Churches were not prepared to help in a great way. God has compelled this ministry and its team to do more and to make a greater impact in the community and the world. People are hurting and I believe that the Church has the solution to help bring healing. We are called to be ready to serve, to be a helping hand to those who are in need.

In the next few days I will be launching a campaign asking my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ to help us help be a blessing to others. 2 Corinthians 1:3 says, “Praise be to God and Father of Our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God”. God has blessed us to be a blessing and to bring comfort to the hurting. Expect further information in the forthcoming days. God Bless you!
