God once again blessed us with a GREAT day of worship at HCC!!! Steve Faulkner, who has had a tough go of things over the last three months, was baptized after our morning service!!! Steve and Juanita’s family was there, along with a big crowd of friends, and we are so thankful for their commitment to both the Lord and to Haynesville Community Church!!! Congratulations Steve!!!

The Fellowship Hall at HCC is going to be a HAPPENING PLACE tomorrow evening!!! Due to a large number of our children that are going into the sixth grade, our youth leaders have formed a new youth group called The Bridge, and this group will be the connection between our Kids Club group and our High School group!!! As you can see, they are having a “sleep-in” tomorrow night and they have a LOT of activities planned, and it’s apparent that these activities include a LOT of food!!! Please pray for all our youth programs as they get started this weekend!!!!

Seth Winn shared God’s word with us this morning at the Men’s Breakfast at HCC and spoke on his walk with the Lord!!! Seth used Ecclesiastes for his scripture reading and he did a great job of sharing God’s word. The Kitchen Crew served up another tasty breakfast and we had a good time of food and fellowship!!! Thanks to everyone who makes this ministry possible!!!! You are appreciated!!!

God truly blessed us once again with a great day of worship at HCC!!! We welcome Lance and Mandy Davenport and their daughter Harper to our membership, and we look forward to the day their son Bennett becomes a member as well. Also, Chance, Mattie, and Vandilyn have now promoted to the 4-6 grade Sunday School class and we are thankful for their faithful attendance!!! Finally, we had a Blessing of the Backpacks for all our students this morning as they prepare to start the new school year!!! We are thankful for all that is taking place at HCC, and we continue to praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!

Got a special shoutout to Mr. Howard Odom who is a very faithful member of HCC and a very dedicated member of the Claiborne Gideon Camp!!! Mr. Howard was at VBS tonight passing out Gideon Bibles to all our young folks and we appreciate him and the Gideons for ALL that they do in spreading God’s word to the world!!! Mr. Howard has a heart for both the Lord and for children, and we are so thankful that he is one of our Senior Saints at HCC!!!

At 79 years young, Mrs. Carolyn Akin has shown everyone this week that there is no age limit as to who may enjoy Vacation Bible School!!! She has been there every night this week, and it’s obvious that she loves the Lord and loves all the children!!! Mrs Akin is truly a Senior Saint at HCC, and we are so thankful that she is a part of our church!!!

God has blessed us once again with another great Men’s Breakfast at HCC!!! Our good friend from First Assembly of God, Bro. Rodney Gray, shared God’s word with us and spoke on the need for everyone to do our works before God and not before man. The Kitchen Crew once again had an outstanding meal and we appreciate them so much!!! We continue to thank God for making this ministry possible!!!!
