When people think of the Hinton Rural Life Center, they often picture volunteers repairing homes, stacking firewood, or gathering retreats along the lake. While those moments are at the heart of Hinton’s mission, much of the work that makes those experiences possible happen quietly; behind the scenes.
Every project, every volunteer day, and every neighbor served begins long before a hammer is lifted, or a group arrives on campus. Staff members coordinate logistics, communicate with families, plan projects, and ensure that each effort is both safe and impactful.
