Summer 2027 starts now!

Give your youth group more than a mission trip; give them an experience that brings faith into action.

Hinton Rural Life Center’s Summer Mission Outreach brings youth and adult leaders to the mountains of Western North Carolina for a week of hands-on service, worship, learning and relationship-building. Teams serve alongside local neighbors through projects such as accessibility ramps, porches, painting, home repairs, yard work and our firewood ministry.

Along the way, participants are challenged to learn about rural Appalachia, build meaningful relationships and discover how they can continue serving when they return home.

Now is the time to start planning your Summer 2027 mission experience! Weeks can fill quickly, so churches and youth groups are encouraged to begin the conversation early.

Registration is open for Hinton’s 2027 Theotokos Confirmation Retreat!

Join us at Hinton Rural Life Center March 5–7, 2027, for a weekend designed to serve as a meaningful “capstone” experience for the Confirmation journey.

Confirmands and their leaders will explore biblical stories of call, reflect on their own stories and what it means to follow Jesus, experience the United Methodist Connection, and put faith into action through hands-on service.

The $200 all-in-one registration includes programming, lodging, five meals, and a T-shirt.

Take a Step Toward Better Health at Hinton

Hinton Rural Life Center is pleased to welcome Life Line Screening to our Young Commons Building on Wednesday, August 26!

Life Line Screening will be offering a special $129 screening package that includes:

Carotid Artery Disease Screening
Atrial Fibrillation Screening
Peripheral Artery Disease Screening
Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening

These preventive screenings can help identify potential health risks before symptoms appear and provide valuable information to share with your healthcare provider.
