The Bummer Lamb, are you one?
Every once and a while, a ewe will give birth to a lamb and reject it. There are many reasons she may do this. If the lamb is returned to the ewe, the mother may even kick the poor animal away. Once a ewe rejects one of her lambs, she will never change her mind. These little lambs will hang their heads so low that it looks like something is wrong with its neck. Their spirit is broken. These lambs are called “bummer lambs.” Unless the shepherd intervenes, that lamb will die, rejected and alone. So, do you know what the shepherd does? He takes that rejected little one into his home, hand-feeds it and keep it warm by the fire. He will wrap it up with blankets and hold it to his chest so the bummer can hear his heartbeat. Once the lamb is strong enough, the shepherd will place it back in the field with the rest of the flock. But that sheep never forgets how the shepherd cared for him when his mother rejected him. When the shepherd calls for the flock, guess who runs to him first? That is right, the bummer sheep. He knows his voice intimately. It is not that the bummer lamb is loved more, it just knows intimately the one who loves it. It's not that it is loved more, it just believes it because it has experienced that love one on one. So many of us are bummer lambs, rejected and broken. But He is the good Shepherd. He cares for our every need and holds us close to His heart so we can hear His heart beat. We may be broken but we are deeply loved by the Shepherd.

What a Blessing we got Saturday, But My soul is trouble with what happened in Israel,Have you read your Bible? If you have then you know what's on the horizon,if not I pray you pick a Bible up and start reading it.. for you that are still at the hog pen the Father's house is still here for now,,in a little while it will be gone . Don't want to be here after the Bride is gone, Praying for Israel and praying that you give your heart and life to the Lord.

I make this post with a heavy heart but in hopes that other children will not know this pain. I just found out that weekend before last there was a 10 year old boy, all smiles, and looking forward to attending VBS. He and his mother were at the Asheville Mall where she was trying on clothes. The boy needed to use the restroom and she had asked him to wait, however, as an impatient 10 year old he did not and went to the restroom without her. By the time she was able to get dressed and located the nearest restroom, the security team was already there. The little boy had been r***d. His innocence, his trusting nature, his life changed in just a few minutes. There were no cameras at the mall pointed towards the restroom doors. And this sick, evil man is still on the loose. The mother of the boy has asked that no names be mentioned, understandable as this poor child is going through enough. However, I as a mother believe that the correct action is to get the knowledge out there in hopes that it will save another child from suffering the same fate. Please, talk with your children, warn them of the troubled times we are in. Tell them why you are a hover parent, and to never trust any situation where they are alone. Encourage going anywhere, even the restroom, never alone. And please share this post. Spread the knowledge so that even 1 young soul can be saved from this torture that this young child will have to endure because of a sick, twisted, and sadistic sorry excuse of a person. You need no names to pray, so please let's lift this child up in prayer, lift his mother up in prayer. And please let's spread the word and hug your children tight.
