It wasn’t politics. It wasn’t Rome.

Jesus claimed to be God - and that’s what got him killed.

The Sanhedrin (Jewish court) didn’t misunderstand Jesus. They understood EXACTLY what he was saying when he quoted Daniel 7 and Psalm 110 in Mark 14. That’s why they tore their clothes and voted unanimously for ex*****on.

If Jesus was just a moral teacher, they would’ve let him go. But he claimed divine authority - to forgive sins, to rule the Sabbath, to sit at God’s right hand.

His enemies prove who he claimed to be.

The terms “embryo” and “fetus” are meant to make pre-born children seem something other than human so that people can kill them without remorse.

Over 4 million pre-born children have their lives taken away for the sake of research and the disregard of their humanity.

The early church was known for saving little girls and disabled boys from infanticide and now we need to stand up and continue our legacy of protecting children from the secular world’s disregard of them.

Even Jesus needed help from His Father.

That sounds like it makes him LESS God, right?

Like it proves he wasn’t really divine?

Here’s what I’m learning: Only God would have the audacity to become fully human—with all the weakness, limitation, and need for help that comes with it and STILL change everything.

Jesus becoming helpless doesn’t discredit him. It proves he meant it when he said he became one of us.

Before you say “you’re wrong”…

Your adult daughter is telling you about a parenting decision she’s made. And everything in you wants to correct her. You’ve been there. You know better. This seems like a terrible idea.

But what if the correction you’re about to give pushes her further away?

Try this instead: “How can I support you?”
Not “Here’s what you should do.”

Not “When I raised you, I did it this way.”
Just: “How can I support you?”

Even when you disagree. Especially when you disagree.

This moment from a Sunday message got the loudest reaction of the morning because every parent in that room has been there. And every adult child has been on the receiving end.

The goal isn’t agreement. It’s keeping the relationship alive while she figures out her own path.
