We are incredibly lucky to have our amazing International Staff, Emily Tello from Colombia and Maielly Andreola da Silva from Brazil, with us this season.

They recently shared a piece of their homes with us by teaching us about their vibrant cultures, their favorite traditions back home, and some fun new vocabulary. Emily shared with us some of her favorite dances and to make things even sweeter, Maielly treated us to some delicious snacks from Brazil!

Emily and Maielly, you bring so much joy and energy to our team. We are so incredibly glad you are here!

What a week!

Yesterday we wrapped up our first week of staff training, and it was filled with meaningful learning, laughter, team building, and memories that will last all summer long.

One of the highlights was our trip to Silver Springs, where we spent time exploring the beauty of God's creation right here in Florida while enjoying a day of fun and connection as a team.

We also had the privilege of worshiping with the wonderful congregation at University Lutheran Church on Sunday. Thank you for welcoming our staff so warmly and allowing us to be part of your worship service. Your hospitality and support mean so much to us.

As we continue preparing for campers to arrive, we're grateful for this incredible team and excited for all that God has in store this summer. ❤️

What a week!

Yesterday we wrapped up our first week of staff training, and it was filled with meaningful learning, laughter, team building, and memories that will last all summer long.

Whether you work or volunteer with families, children, youth, young adults, or pre-schoolers, this retreat is for you! In addition to workshops geared to equip you in your ministry to and with children, youth, and young adults, we will also offer workshops exploring how we can use art, music, movement, and the beautiful outdoors in spiritual practices to care for ourselves and to guide others to do the same.
