Father, tonight I lay down my fears, my unfinished thoughts, and my need to control what tomorrow will bring.

Thank You for keeping me through this day. While I sleep, watch over me with Your faithful love. Quiet my heart, cover my home, and help me rest securely in the truth that I am never outside Your care.

Lord, You do not grow tired or look away. You are already present in the hours ahead, holding what I cannot see and guarding what I cannot protect.

“Indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.” Psalm 121:4

Storms may come, but they do not mean God has left. His presence is steady even when everything around you feels uncertain.

Just a reminder for the person who has been beating themselves up lately…

That voice telling you that you’re too broken, too messy, too far gone, or not good enough is not the voice of Jesus.

Jesus already knew every mistake you would make.
Every time you would fall short.
Every season you would struggle.
Every moment you’d question whether you were even worthy of His love.

And He still chose the cross.

You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Him.
You don’t have to earn His love.
You don’t have to have a perfect faith, a perfect past, or a perfect life.

Come tired.
Come ashamed.
Come confused.
Come after messing up for the hundredth time.

Just come.
Because your worst day doesn’t make Jesus love you less, and your best day doesn’t make Him love you more.
You were never saved because you were good enough.
You were saved because He is.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17

When you put your faith in Jesus Christ, you are not your past hurts, struggles or shame; you do not live in the past.

Being a new creation in Christ means your old spiritual life is gone and by God's grace, a new life has begun.
