I had the privilege of being asked to lead worship at Grace Lutheran Church in the Hamilton neighborhood of Baltimore this morning. The message was called "Escaping Your Safe Place." From the story in John 20:19-31 of the first Easter Sunday when Jesus appeared to a group of terrified disciples in a locked room, this message encourages us to leave our "safe places" and get out into the world, spreading the gospel and fulfilling the Great Commission.
