This week's Difference Maker isn't one person. It's the 96 volunteers who helped make Mega Kid Camp our most successful ever.
They served meals, directed traffic, prayed with kids, ran games, danced, shot bubble guns, cleaned, planned, transported campers, created videos, donated meals, solved problems, and showed up day after day with joyful hearts.
Some came straight from work. Some served on nights they weren't scheduled. Some arrived hours early to set up. Others gave financially to care for our volunteers. Many stepped into brand-new roles and took ownership without being asked. Every act, big or small, helped create an unforgettable experience for the next generation.
What stands out most isn't what they did. It's why they did it. They didn't serve for recognition, attention, or applause. They served because they want kids to know Jesus. They served with the Attitude of Christ, who "did not come to be served, but to serve."
Because of these 96 Difference Makers, hundreds of kids experienced fun, friendship, biblical truth, and the love of Jesus.
To every volunteer who served one night or all four, thank you. You are helping make a difference, not for our church's name, but for God's Kingdom. You all truly are Difference Makers!
