YARD SALE DONATIONS & VOLUNTEERS

Gay Lynn Price and team have been busy collecting and sorting donations!

Additional drop-off times - sanctuary:
Wednesday Sept. 9th - 10am to noon
Thursday Sept. 10th - 10am to noon
Friday Sept. 11th - 10am to 5pm

Parishioner Volunteers: On Friday we will move items from the sanctuary to the parish hall once the SJ Cupboard concludes.

We need volunteers on Friday from 1-5pm for sorting/pricing. We need volunteers on Saturday Sept. 12th from 6am (set up) to 3pm (clean up).

We appreciate the support…this is one of our big fundraisers each year!

August 30, 2026 - Our Youth Sunday at St John's Episcopal Church was filled with poignant and spirit-filled moments.
We are grateful for the children and families who supported us today by serving as greeters, readers, acolytes, and ushers.

Rev. Arianne brought all students, teachers, administrators, and counselors forward for a special “Backpack Blessing.” Harford County begins a new school year tomorrow and we hope they all feel the support, care, and hope the congregation holds for them.

Phase One - ornamental pollinator garden - complete!

For their Silver Award Project, Girl Scout Troop 1422 is designing and implementing an accessible garden for the next-door neighbors of the church…senior residents of St. John’s Towers. With your support and contributions, this is becoming a reality!

Thank you to the Scouts, parents, St John's Episcopal Church parishioners, and Mosaic Center volunteers that worked on the pollinator garden today.

In September, the Troop will return to add at least two accessible raised garden beds and pathways.

Troop 1422 raised enough funds to launch the project, but still needs your help to fund the full vision of at least six raised beds. Please use the Venmo link below (or QR code in the graphic) to help support making this accessible Senior Community Garden possible!
