Funeral Arrangements for Fr. Madden

Good evening everyone,

I pray you are all doing well during these heavy days. I just wanted to give you a few updates regarding the funeral arrangements for Fr. Madden.

Overnight Vigil
At the request of his family, we will NOT be having an overnight vigil with Fr. Madden after the Requiem Mass on Friday evening.

Livestream
Both funeral Masses will be live streamed on our YouTube page. Click the link below to access our channel.

Parking
Please follow police instructions for overflow parking. There will be bus shuttles available to take you from the parking lot to the church.
- A gentle reminder that the front parking lot is reserved for the family of Fr. Madden and visiting clergy.
- Handicapped spaces are also available on the street.

Seating and Attendance
As Fr. Madden was loved by so many, we are expecting a large number of guests. Please be advised that seating inside the church and Parish Hall are limited.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. Be assured of mine for you as we prepare to commend the soul of our beloved pastor to God.

Dear brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ,

It is with great sadness, but with hope in the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, that I send you this message.

Last night, our beloved pastor, Fr. Thomas Madden, died peacefully in Greenwich Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Thank you for all of your tireless prayers for him, and for the parish community. This evening at 7pm, we will have a special holy hour for the eternal repose of his soul.

The office will be closed until further notice. Funeral arrangements will be sent out as soon as they are ready.

Let us continue to lift each other up in prayer as we mourn the loss of our beloved pastor.

Queridos hermanos y hermanas en Jesucristo

Con gran tristeza, pero con esperanza en la Resurrección de Jesucristo, les mando este mensaje.

Anoche, nuestro querido párroco, el P. Thomas Madden, falleció en paz en el hospital de Greenwich, rodeado de su familia.

Gracias por todas sus oraciones infatigables por él, y por la comunidad parroquial. Esta noche, a las 7, celebraremos una hora santa especial por el eterno descanso de su alma.

La oficina permanecerá cerrada hasta nuevo aviso. Los arreglos funerarios se enviarán tan pronto como estén listos.

Continuemos elevándonos unos a otros en oración mientras lamentamos la pérdida de nuestro querido pastor.
