There’s something powerful about men getting together in person; opening God’s Word, having meaningful conversations, building friendships, and encouraging one another in faith. That’s exactly what the Merrimack Valley Community Bible Study men’s group is all about!

Join us Thursday nights from 7:00–8:30 PM, beginning September 10, 2026, at West Church in Haverhill, MA.

Last year was the first year CBS offered an in-person men’s group, and it quickly became a meaningful time of fellowship, encouragement, and relationship-building. Men from different ages and stages of life came together, and the connections made were a highlight of the year.

Now, we’re excited to build on that momentum and grow the group in 2026–2027!

This year’s study will take us through two incredible books of the Bible:
• Colossians – Our first six weeks will focus on this powerful letter and what it means to live with Christ at the center of our lives.
• Genesis – The remaining 24 weekly meetings will take us into the first part of Genesis, exploring the foundational stories and truths that shape our understanding of God, creation, and His plan for humanity.

Whether you’ve been studying the Bible for years or are simply looking for a place to connect with other men and grow in your faith, you are welcome!

Come for the Bible study. Stay for the fellowship. Leave encouraged and strengthened for the week ahead.

In the beginning there was God. His spirit hovered over the formless waters. Then he spoke and set everything into motion. From the beginning God spoke and he is still speaking to us today. Genesis is the book of beginnings, the place where we rediscover the God who formed creation with purpose and breathe life into humanity with love. Explore the Book of Genesis and see how God spoke the universe into existence. And how he is still speaking through creation today. You will discover humanity’s noble calling and how sin fractured what was good. And how from the very beginning of this separation, God began a plan of restoration. Not by human effort, but by his promise. Genesis reveals a God who is faithful, even we are not. A God who still invites us to trust him. The God who has always been faithful and who will make all things new.
