This fall Ministry Discernment Conference is offered jointly by the Commission on Ministry and the St. Paul Center for Theology and Prayer for anyone interested in discerning calls to ministry in the Church and in the world, both lay and ordained. Those who want to learn about the ordination process in the Diocese of Massachusetts are especially encouraged to attend, with their sponsoring clergy, potential parish discernment committee members and family members.

1 September marks the beginning of the Season of Creation and is observed by many Christians as Creation Day. The Feast of Creation in Christ may be celebrated on 1 September or on the first Sunday in September.

While many churches mark this season through worship and prayer, individuals, families and small groups can also take part through personal prayer, reflection and Bible study.

Join the Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts Office of Immigration & Multicultural Ministries, the Massachusetts Episcopal Network for Justice and Joy (ENJJOY), and Episcopal City Mission for a screening and conversation of the documentary film Jesus Was A Migrant.

We will screen the film together online and then be led in conversation by The Rev. Canon Jean Baptiste Ntagengwa, Th.D., Canon for Immigration & Multicultural Ministries. This is a chance to learn about one aspect of immigration, discuss our call as Christians in this moment, and hear about the work being done in our diocese and how we can support our immigrant neighbors.
