Dear Temple Emanu-El Community and Friends, past and present,
We are thrilled to invite you to a special weekend of events celebrating our 88 years as Temple Emanu-El at 514 Main Street. Please join us for a series of meaningful and joyous gatherings on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17.
Friday Evening, May 16

● Dinner will be a potluck cookout. We have Hebrew National hot dogs at the temple and will be soliciting Pareve, nut-free side dishes.
Saturday Morning, May 17
● 9:30 am: Service
● 12:00 pm: Kiddush
● Kiddush will include bagels, schmears, lox, kugels, etc.
Saturday Evening, May 17
● 6:30 pm: Gala and Havdalah
● Featuring appetizers, desserts, and fun mocktails.
● Recognition and appreciation of the many groups of people who have made Temple Emanu-El the wonderful community it has been.
● Havdalah to acknowledge the transition of the community.
We would like to recognize all who have made the Temple what it has been. The list of groups we brainstormed for recognition is at the bottom of this email. However, we do not believe we have identified every group, so please review this list and contact me ([email protected]) if you have additional groups to include!
We also invite you to bring items to the Temple for others to peruse on Saturday night. For all, please label anything you want back, as we will not be saving additional materials. The items we encourage you to bring include:
● Supplemental Holiday Prayerbooks used on various holidays
● Photos of events
● Any awards given to you or your children that you might want to share
● Any gifts received from the Temple that you want to share
● Any religious school artifacts or children’s projects that you might want to share
● Any posters or advertisements of the Temple or Temple events
● Anything else that you think will serve to reminisce about the Temple
All events are free of charge, but to orchestrate this weekend, we need your help!
● Any and all monetary donations can be made by contacting Lisa Anthony at [email protected].
● Additionally, you can sign up to bring food or help with setup or cleanup through SignUp Genius.
● To RSVP, please contact Lisa in the office or use this Google form to reply.
We look forward to celebrating with you and honoring our rich history! Please feel free to reach out for any questions.
Warm regards,
Jenn Lampron
