Sermon for Sunday 😇 👇🏼

“Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so, but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.”

Camp Day 3 Update:

We enjoyed another great day of camp yesterday! Students chose two workshops to attend where they learned what the Bible says about a variety of topics.

We worshiped together, heard another message from our speaker Jeremy about the importance of connecting as believers, competed in team games, our boys took on the zip line, and our very own Shawn sang in the talent show!

It was an awesome day, and we are looking forward to finishing our last full day strong!

First full day of camp was great! The rain held off for most of the day, which was HUGE. We played water games, the girls got to go on the zip line, and our speaker, Jeremy, shared a powerful message about the difference between knowing who Jesus is and actually having a personal relationship with Him.

Our middle schoolers are off to church camp until Sunday! Pray for God to work in their lives and pray for Pastor Mike and Rebecca as they lead these crazy kids! Anytime we can get away from our day to day lives and hear from God…that’s when the good stuff happens! 💪🏻 😎

This Sunday! We talk about Jael a normal everyday woman caught in the middle of a war. She is a heroine in the book of Judges who killed the commander of the Canaanite army by driving a tent spike through his head while he slept.

Pretty crazy. You should come hear more at 10:30 this Sunday!

We are going all in with 5 full days of VBS this year! We will wrap up the week with a celebration on the final day with games, food, and a chance to look back at everything God has done throughout the week.

Our boys vs. girls offering challenge is focused on something bigger this year. We are raising money to support Rick Schuessler and the work he is doing in the Caribbean. On top of that, part of the giving will help send a team from our church, made up of high school students and adults, to go serve alongside him.

It is going to be a meaningful week for our kids and a real opportunity to be part of what God is doing beyond our community.

VBS is for Pre-K through 6th grade, based on the grade they just finished this past school year.
