When we pray, “Thy Kingdom Come,” exactly what are we asking? Before yesterday’s sermon by Pastor Jacqueline Collins at Love Chapel, I always thought it meant God’s Kingdom coming down to earth. In a way I still believe it means praying for the Kingdom of God to come be with us; however, my new insight is how exactly this will happen. Instead of a mysterious fog of a kingdom settling down and taking over the land, I now see that when we pray “Thy Kingdom Come” we are in fact inviting God into our hearts. The Kingdom of God is within you and I! Amazing Grace! Now here’s the key to finding it ... Forgiveness. You must Forgive to be able to find the Kingdom of God 🕊
