Some pictures that were taken of our sweet little country church and sent to us!❤️❤️ Thank you so much for the appreciation of its beauty! In all of its beauty, what makes it even more special is the people that form the congregation, that make you feel like family and the presence of the Lord that is felt when you walk through the doors.

One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all of the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord and to meditate in His temple. Psalm 27:4

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in His sanctuary. Psalm 96:6

What are we afraid of in this life, what scares us or puts a fear in us we can't shake? A list could go like this, sickness, jobless, pain, storms, popularity or lack of, provisions, loss of or ability to acquire, safety or security, being alone, and we could carry on for pages what we as finite human beings have a fear of. Why?
Look what we face every day in advertising and viewing in our daily lives. 68% of television's commercials are from pharmaceutical companies telling us medical problems and what we need, a large percent of other is from lawyers telling us what we deserve from "accidents", another percentage is fast food we really don't need, and more to entice us into sin or things we normally wouldn't think about. I really don't like commercials! We are a society of dependency. The story of supply and demands or out of sight out of mind. But in our case its in sight so always on our mind. How many can name a lawyer or a drug from advertising on TV? Now how many can quote 3 scriptures from the Bible, or name the majority of books in the Bible, or how many old or new testament books there are?
Let me help. There are 66 books in the Bible, the same as chapters in Isaiah, 39 old testament, and 27 new testament.
Now a few scriptures:2 Timothy 1:7, For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind". Roman 8:31b,"If God is for us who can be against us?" Philippians 1:21, "For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain". Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me". Psalm 121 starts out, "I will lift up my eyes to the hills - From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth", I encourage you to read the rest. And finally Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of
God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord".
O death where is your sting, what do we fear? Proverbs 1:7, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction".
How have we spent our quarantine?

Holy Week, this is it! The week of our redemption, the payment for our sins, a love we have a hard time comprehending, for we have been bought with a price and that price was paid this week.
Years ago at our church we did a passion play every year. For six years we did this play of the crucifixion and resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ and rested on the seventh year. Every year some problems would arise the opening evening that would cause us to have to solve to put this play on. From appendicitis for our sound man to a husband killing his wife. But each year the enemy would attack and the Lord would provide the strength to go on with the play. This is a story that needs to be told and should never get old. In all the years of doing this play and going to see other ones there is one thing that always has stuck with me. When they would put Jesus on the cross laying down and would take His hands, put them down, and swing the hammer they would hit an anvil to make the sound of metal hitting metal as the hammer and the nails driving into His arms and feet. That clanging noise is with me to this day as clear as it was then. The pounding sound of my sins being paid for by a sinless savior. Each clang of His pain reverberates through that sound in my mind.
We know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so we would no longer be enslaved to sin.(Romans 6:6) So you also must consider yourselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus.(Romans 6:11) This ringing sounds of the hammer and nails should stick to us and remind us of the sacrifice given for us this day in each day of our lives. I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.(Galatians 2:20)
Let us live this life each day our lives, giving praise to God the Father and demonstrating His Son in our every day life showing the unconditional love given to us in this Holy Week.

Who is our hero? Here in America we look to the man who can fly through the air and slam a ball into a basket or the ones who can throw a pigskin 50 yards into another mans hands and run it in for a touchdown, or maybe the big movie star who we admire and idolize on the big screen, or it might be one of the richest people in our country who "have it made".. We want to be like them. Just give me a million dollars and I won't have anything to worry about.. These are the heroes thrust in our society. We pay them enormous amounts of money and watch in idolization of them and their lives.. But who is it now.
The Corona virus has shown us new heroes in our society, true heroes. The nurses, doctors, first responders, police, truck drivers, store clerks, janitors, teachers, sanitation workers, and many others we pass every day and never take notice of but now are the front line in the battle of the virus to preserve our way of life. They risk their health and family every day to make sure we get the care and things we need or feel we need in our lives.
In John 13 Jesus washes 24 dirty feet of the discipels. Even the feet of Judas who is in the process of betraying Him. God washed the feet of these men! Luke 22:25-27 Jesus answers the disciples question on who the greatest among them is, "And He said to them, The kings of the gentiles exercise lordship over them ands those in authority over them are called benefactors. But not so with you. Rather, let the greatest among you become as the youngest, and the leader as one who serves. For who is the greater, The one who reclines at the table or one who serves? Is it not the one who reclines at the table? But, I am among you as the one who serves." Matthew 20:26-28 Jesus tells them, "But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many."
They are each risking and giving parts of their lives for us. Let us show Christ and give thanks and kind words to each. Let us support them in prayer and hold them up and when this is over let us not forget who the real heroes are. May our Father in Heaven bless each one and put a blanket of protection around them. May they feel His presence, and peace in all they do..
In Christ, Cleve

Good Morning'
Its another day of quarantine from the corona virus and we are all stuck inside or not able to go anywhere in fear of being contagious or getting contaminated by this virus. How it is affecting our daily lives and to hear people say things will never be the same, all has changed. How many positive things do we hear?
What if we were quarantined with Jesus for a week? What would we talk about? The misery in our life, that trashy neighbor, being stuck and not able to go anywhere, its not my fault and how tired we are of all these people putting us out? What would we talk about? What could we say to the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Prince of Peace to make Him realize the pain others have caused us? What would He say to us?
Have you looked in the mirror this morning? You were made in His likeness; Gen 27, "So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him, male and female He created them". Did you see Him? Maybe, "be content with what you have, for He has said I will never leave nor forsake you" So we can confidently say, "The Lord is my helper, I will not fear, what can man do to Me"? (Heb 13:5b-6) Do you hear Him? Or even "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid, I am going away and I will come to you."(John 14:27-28) Do you feel Him?
Look outside, is the grass green, the sky blue, the birds singing? We are with Him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Our weakness reveals His Love and strength over and over. Have a blessed day.
In Christ, Cleve

Good afternoon and I hope you are having a blessed day in the Lord. This world is crazy, and each day I wonder where people think we go from here. I have asked why, like in the situation we are in now people are not flocking to God. It so much reminds me of the Israelites in the Old Testament. After the Arc, (Gen 7) we had the destruction of S***m and Gomorrah, (Gen 18), God Threatening in Exodus 32 over the golden calf and so it goes on and on. They still didn't turn to God and stay with Him. We go through the laws and the kings then the prophets with example after example. God even gave us these people to tell us His future plans and all of them will come to pass.
Now we come to the New Testament, new beginnings, and a new covenant in Jesus Christ. (All which were prophesies coming true.) With this He gave us His indwelling Spirit to guide us through trials and temptations, not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love, and of a sound mind. (2Tim 1:7)
Sound Mind? To live is Christ, to die is gain! (Phil 1:21). A win win situation. We live as Christ did with love, boldness, and the mind of Christ displaying His joy to all around us and if we die we are with Christ and will know Him as He is..
You may be the only Christ somebody sees in this time of the virus. Let them see His joy in you, sense His strength in you, feel His love from you, and get His peace through you. Lets not repeat history and let us seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6) And, rejoice in the Lord always. again I will say rejoice. Let your gentleness be known to all, the Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus..
SPREAD THE JESUS VIRUS.

Good morning, I hope your day is blessed. Psalm 19:7-11,
“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold, yea than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward.
My prayer is that we maintain this attitude as a body of Christ and individually as Christians bringing praise and glory to our Father in heaven each and every day. Love in Christ, Cleve

Proverbs 16:9, "The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps."
Good morning, this is so true. When I was a little guy my parents took us to Yakosuka naval station in Japan. I was fascinated by the ships and said one day i was going to be on one. I fulfilled that dream in the Navy serving on 2 Air Craft Carriers, it was totally awesome. Getting out of the Navy i planned on going to college and going back and flying. I also loved music (guitars). Well needless to say my direction took a major left turn. I didnt get to pilot but did get to play guitar which led to a different way in my life.
So after many years avoiding God, He fully grabbed me. Not me Him, He picked me..What an honor, God wanted me. I put my guitars away and couldn't get enough of God's word, everything i read was centered around God, this hunger has not subsided in any way to this day. I ended up playing in a praise band in a church and then licensed in the ministry of Jesus Christ, now pasturing this awesome church. You see my dreams were fulfilled to the fullest. I did fly in many different aircraft as a mechanic and now soar with wings of eagles, "Yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength, They will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. Isaiah 40:31." So let us buckle up (gird our loins with truth, Eph 6:14), put our tray tables and seat backs in the full and upright position, (having put on the brastplate of righteousness), the righteousness of Christ, and allow our Pilot (God) to direct our steps in His will.. By the way there will be turbulence.
Remember our prayer list. Love in Christ, Cleve
