Have you ever wondered what it would be like to stand along the Nile River and witness the land where so much biblical and ancient history unfolded?

My name is Kelly Barnes, founder of Foreign We Go, a travel company that curates cultural and educational experiences around the world. I am also a member of Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church, and some of you may also know me as the producer of Sunlight’s African History Program.

I would like to invite you to join Foreign We Go as we host Written in Stone: An Egypt Experience, taking place March 26 – March 31, 2027.

This unforgettable journey will explore the rich history of Egypt, including Cairo, the Pyramids of Giza, the Nile River region, and remarkable landmarks connected to ancient civilization and biblical history, all while enjoying the comfort and care of a luxury travel experience.

Having traveled to 32 countries, I am passionate about creating experiences that allow others to explore the world in meaningful and memorable ways.

For a limited time, beginning Friday, March 20 through April 6, you can reserve your spot with just a $250 deposit, with the remaining balance paid through monthly payments with final payment due September 15.

Today, January 4, is the last opportunity to drop off gently used clothing donations for The Blessing Bag Event.

We are collecting women’s, men’s, and children’s clothing in good, clean condition to support single mothers, families, and members of our community with dignity and care.

Go To Grow Inc., in partnership with Sunlight Missionary Baptist Church, invites our church family and the surrounding community to come together for The Blessing Bag Event—a clothing outreach designed to serve single mothers, families, and neighbors in need with dignity and love.
