🇺🇸 True Freedom Is Found in Christ ✝️

This past Sunday, Pastor Michael reminded us that while we are grateful for the freedoms we enjoy as a nation, true freedom isn’t found in a country, a government, or our circumstances—it is found in Jesus Christ.

Because of His sacrifice on the cross, we have been set free from the power of sin and offered the gift of eternal life. Jesus willingly gave His life so that we could experience forgiveness, hope, peace, and a relationship with God.

As we celebrated Independence Day this weekend, we were challenged to remember the greatest freedom ever given—the freedom purchased by Christ’s blood on Calvary.

No chain is too strong. No past is too broken. No life is beyond God’s redeeming grace. The cross changed everything, and through Jesus, we can live in the freedom only He can provide.

“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” — John 8:36

May we never take for granted the incredible gift of salvation and the true freedom that comes through our Savior.

This past Sunday, Brother Michael shared a powerful message from the parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32), reminding us of the incredible love, grace, and forgiveness of our Heavenly Father.

No matter how far we wander or how many mistakes we make, God is always ready to welcome us back with open arms. The father’s response to his returning son was not one of anger or rejection, but of compassion, restoration, and celebration. What a beautiful picture of God’s love for each of us!

The message challenged us to examine our own hearts—whether we identify with the prodigal son or the father willing to welcome home his som. Through it all, we were reminded that God’s mercy is greater than our failures and that there is joy in heaven when one soul returns to Him.

We are thankful for this timely reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God’s love, and His invitation to come home is always open.

“For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.” — Luke 15:24

This past Sunday, June 14th, Brother Michael brought a powerful message from 2 Chronicles 22.
Brother Michael challenged us to consider the influences we allow into our lives. Through the example of King Ahaziah, we saw how following ungodly counsel can lead us away from God’s purpose, while seeking the Lord and surrounding ourselves with godly influences leads us closer to Him.

We were also reminded that even when circumstances seem out of control, God is still working behind the scenes. Just as God preserved the line of David through young Joash, He remains faithful to His promises and sovereign over every situation we face.

Thank you, Brother Michael, for faithfully preaching God’s Word and encouraging us to walk wisely, trust God’s plan, and remain steadfast in our faith.
