“And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.”
‭‭2 John‬ ‭1:6‬ ‭Amen. If we love God we would obey His commands. It’s easy to think of a command as a burden, but we know this is what the Father wants us to do so we must do it. “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” John 14:15 This Christian walk isn’t just about professing faith, but we are supposed to be obedient and applying the word of God in our life. His word purifies, transforms and leads us to righteousness. Walk in the way of love just as Christ did when He laid His life down for us. We must love others the exact same way! The best way to show Christ in your life is through your love. Be careful NOT to love your self more than others, because Paul tells us clearly in 2 Timothy that there will be terrible times in the last days because people will be lovers of them selves and lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God. Praying that you set an example of Christ wherever we go, that you obey your commands from God and that most of all you love others the same way Christ did!
