This week was Hooray Day! On Hooray Days, we get to celebrate God in a special way. Preschoolers learned that God leads us to have faith. In Hebrews 11, we read about people who had faith despite many challenges. They trusted and believed in God, and we can too.

At mealtimes this week, celebrate different, good things God has done. Share that God helps us have faith through trusting, following, and celebrating Jesus.

Take time today to pray as a family - talk and listen to God. Pray for these four things:

1. Thank God that He wants us to be a part of His special plan to share Jesus with the world.

2. Ask God to help you remember that sharing Jesus is exciting.

3. Pray for a greater desire and excitement to share Jesus with others and look for opportunities to do so.

4. Choose one or two other people to pray for - that God would help you be bold and share Jesus with them and that they would listen and believe the truth.

Sharing Jesus is exciting! In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came and empowered Jesus' disciples to share about Him with boldness - even speaking in different languages! Many people believed in and trusted Jesus that day.

Preschoolers learned that sharing Jesus is exciting, and God can work through us in incredible ways!

Take turns with your preschoolers saying, "Jesus loves you!" with excited voices and faces. Celebrate that we get to share Jesus with others and that sharing Jesus is exciting!

Gather some small flowers, plants, or leaves with your preschoolers. Glue them on a piece of paper and write the names of your family members and some friends around each one. Allow your preschoolers to decorate around the plants, including adding some "soil" at the bottom. You could even glue dirt at the bottom of the picture. Keep this craft as a reminder that sharing Jesus is worth it. When we tell others about Jesus, we can know God is the One who helps people trust, believe, and follow Him.

This week we taught preschoolers that sharing Jesus is worth it. In Matthew 13:1-23, Jesus told a story about a farmer sowing seed on different types of soil.

"Everyone who call on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13

Do you remember where you were when you first heard about Jesus or who first told you about Him? Every time you talk about Jesus at home, pray with your preschoolers, and exhibit God's love, you are sharing Jesus. You don't have to be perfect - you just have to be present and willing to allow God to work in and through you.

Preschoolers learned this week that sharing Jesus is God's plan.

After Jesus died on a cross and rose from the dead, He appeared to two disciples. Jesus shared with these disciples how everything in Scripture was pointing to Him.

Jesus is God's plan for the whole world, and we get to share this exciting news with everyone! Preschoolers can know that when people have a friendship with God through Jesus, they are part of God's plan to share Jesus with others.

Take time to pray with your preschoolers this week for specific people with whom you can share Jesus.
