Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures who lead, love, serve, and pray for their families.

Today we celebrate and honor the impact you make every day. Thank you for being an example of strength, faith, and steadfast love.

For over three years now, we have had the privilege of bringing in our friends from The Fieldhouse for the Homeless and their women's shelter to our church each week for dinner and a message. That time together has meant the world to us. But this week, we got to go to each of them.

With stormy weather keeping everyone inside, we packed up and headed to the shelter to share a meal, worship together, and simply be present with people we love. Brother Tony preached the gospel, hearts were open, and many asked for prayer. We came to serve and left feeling like we had been the ones served.

This is not a "look what we did" moment. This is a moment of connection. This is what the love of God looks like when it shows up in person, sits down at the table, and says, "We see you. You matter. You are loved." We are all made in His same image.

Thank you to everyone at the shelter for welcoming us in. You are a blessing to us every single week, and this week was no different.

We can't wait for next time ❤️
