MISSING TOMBSTONE: This summer one of the tombstones broke in the Frick Meetinghouse. This happens occasionally because the stones are fragile. It takes us some time to have these things repaired, and we leaned the broken piece against the neighboring stone in the meantime. When we checked last week, the broken piece was missing. We suspect someone used it as a Halloween decoration. We would like to repair the headstone of the gravesite and would deeply appreciate if the stone were returned to the site from where it was taken - no questions asked. If you have any information on the missing tombstone, please call Hatfield Township to report. Update 12-28-2023: broken tombstone was repaired by our lawn service (who broke it) without informing us it was fixed. So the broken pieces have been joined, and nothing is missing. Thank you for your attention, and happy holidays to all!

Thank you to Hatfield Township for installing this beautiful community path in cooperation with landowners, including Fricks Meetinghouse, Burial Ground and Native Sanctuary. We are delighted to open our grounds to the Hatfield community. How do you enjoy the Fricks path? Does the hard surface and boardwalk make the path accessible to you or someone you know?

In memory of Hans Horst-Martz, born August 10, 1998 and died December 30, 2020, his family has gifted a Liriodendron Tulipifera, a yellow poplar, also known as the tulip poplar tree. This native PA tree provides food favoured by monarch butterflies. Hans loved this tree and planted quite a few in his family back yard and in his neighbors' yards. His college professor earmarked it as a native tree to eastern United State

Dear Friends and Supporters,

In about May Frick Meetinghouse usually hosts a hymn sing in the historic building in cooperation with Mennonite Historical Society. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to maintain safe distances from each other to avoid transmitting the virus, it will not be possible to host this event safely this year. We will be monitoring the situation and hope to resume our yearly programming as soon as it is safe to do so.

The trails and burial grounds remain open for walking. Please observe Hatfield's and Pennsylvania's rules and regulations regarding safe distancing and face masks in public places.

We wish you and your families health during this time.
