A LABOR DAY PRAYER

Heavenly Father,

On this Labor Day, we thank You for the gift of work and for the many ways You allow us to use our hands, minds, talents, and time to serve You and others.

Help us to approach every task—great or small—with grateful hearts, remembering that ultimately, we work for You. May our work reflect Your love, our words encourage those around us, and our lives bring glory to Your name. Lord, bless the work of our hands and give us grateful hearts for the opportunity to serve.

"Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord and not for people.” — Colossians 3:23

New signs are up, renovations are underway, and plans are taking shape for what’s ahead.

We are grateful for the many years of faithful ministry that have taken place here. We honor those who have worshiped, served, prayed, cared for neighbors, and faithfully supported the Food Cupboard. Their faithfulness is part of this church’s story—and that story continues.

In the coming months, look for new ministries, new opportunities to connect, and new ways to serve our community. The signs, paint, and carpet may be new, but the mission remains timeless: loving God, loving people, making disciples, deepening our walk with Jesus and shining His light in our community. We can’t wait to see what God does next!
